2nd Annual Post Award Forum for Section 1115 Demonstration for SUD Services

The Department of Human Services (DHS) is holding a forum to give the public an opportunity to provide comments on the progress of the federal Section 1115 Demonstration for substance use disorder (SUD) services.  This Demonstration was approved by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) effective July 1, 2018, and provides necessary funding that is critical to continue to support the provision of a full continuum of medically necessary SUD services, including residential services.The forum will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at the “Chapel” (1110 South Hemlock Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17110-2931) located on DGS Annex Complex, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The Chapel is building #15 on the Chapel map. Individuals may also submit written comments by the same date, Wednesday, April 1, 2020, to Charles Tshudy, Bureau of Policy, Planning and Program Development, Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, 11th Floor, Commonwealth Tower, 303 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101 or by email.
