Stopgap funding for December has been approved and letters will be sent to Single County Authorities. The amount for December will be the same as it was for prior months. PCPA extends thanks to Department of Public Welfare Secretary Estelle Richman and Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Deputy Secretary Joan Erney for continuing work to assure these crucial stopgap funds.
Important Note: Be sure to take time to contact your senator and encourage them to work with the governor and the House of Representatives to come up with a resolution to this budget crisis now. It is important that the legislature and administration see the level of support that exists for these programs.
