Autism Training Opportunity

Penn Autism Network, University of Pennsylvania, and the Department of Public Welfare Bureau of Autism Services are co-sponsoring a one-day training, Healthy Sexuality: Adaptive Skills for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The training is presented by Isabelle Hénault, PhD, author of Asperger's Syndrome and Sexuality: From Adolescence through Adulthood. The workshop is targeted to educators, psychologists, health professionals, social workers, behavioral specialists, administrators, direct care providers, paraprofessionals, service coordinators, family members, and individuals with autism. The workshop is approved for five continuing education units for educators, psychologists, and social workers. The training will be held:

The Bureau of Autism Services is offering 20 scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a full-time university program within Pennsylvania. Applicants should have a goal of working professionally with individuals on the autism spectrum upon graduation.
