PCPA is continuing the member survey about the type and scope of services being provided to children and adolescents involved with the juvenile justice system or who present with behavioral health symptoms and diagnoses that increase risk for police or court contact. On May 1, survey information had been recevied from:
- Northwest Human Services, Northwestern Academy
- Child Guidance Resource Centers
- Irene Stacy Community Mental Health Center
- Joseph J. Peters Institute
- Shawnee Academy
- Human Services Administration Organization
- Human Services, Inc.
- Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic
- Westmoreland Case Management and Support
- Intercommunity Action, and
- Family Services of Western Pennsylvania.
While these results are a good regional sample of providers, that there are many more members serving this population. The survey will remain open for several more weeks to capture more data.
