Request for Autism Services Proposal

February 8, 2006

The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (DPW) through the Tuscarora Intermediate Unit is seeking providers interested in developing and piloting effective models of care for children and adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.

The commonwealth is particularly interested in programs that integrate education and behavioral health services and that propose innovative uses of behavioral health rehabilitation services. Programs that focus only on one part of the autism spectrum or a narrow age group must provide justification for the limit in scope of the proposal.

A copy of the request for proposals is available from this link. The deadline for submission will be 5:00 p.m. March 3.

Proposals should be submitted to the following address:

Michelle Huntsman
Tuscarora Intermediate Unit #11
2527 US Highway 522 South
McVeytown, PA 17051
