The Department of Public Welfare was unable to identify an acceptable proposal for the delivery of rural autism services from the submissions they received. The department has reissued a request for proposals (RFP) seeking providers to develop and pilot effective models of care and coordinated service delivery for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder in rural Pennsylvania. The department will fund several programs that hold the promise of improving assessment and intervention services. The state is seeking programs that will operate across service systems and offer a range of levels of care. The deadline for submission of proposals is August 21. A copy of the revised request for proposals is available.
