The PCPA Conference Committee is delighted to release the prospectus and contract for Using Your I’s: Inspiration, Innovation, Integration, the 2008 PCPA conference. Scheduled October 6 – 8 at Seven Springs Mountain Resort, the event once again promises to be a highlight of the year for the Pennsylvania mental health, mental retardation, and drug and alcohol community. Informational materials are available for download from the links above.
Exhibit activities will take place on Monday evening, October 6 and all day Tuesday, October 7. The committee has scheduled events within Exhibit Hall to assist in drawing guests to the area. On Monday evening light refreshments are offered when the hall opens for the first time at 5:00 p.m. On Tuesday, the Exhibitor Lunch Munch is offered and, to end hall hours, the Ice Cream Social and prize giveaway. In addition, the Tuesday morning coffee break is held within the hall. By offering streamlined Exhibit Hall hours and scheduling food and break functions within the hall, PCPA has increased the likelihood that exhibitors, as an integral component to conference success, have the opportunity to interact with conference attendees.
As important as time in the hall, is the interaction with conferees outside of the exhibit area. Past participants have noted that joining in other conference activities such as receptions, meals, and educational offerings provides them greater opportunity and flexibility to establish opportunities for business. PCPA includes two conference registrations with the exhibit fee and encourages companies to use those registrations to fully participate in conference events.
Please review the information on the web site and note the deadline for inclusion in printed materials of May 31. All advertisements must be received by that date. Exhibitors and sponsors who wish to be listed in the conference program, which is used as both a marketing piece and the onsite brochure, must also adhere to that deadline.
PCPA looks forward to welcoming you back to the conference or greeting you as a vendor for the first time. The available materials should answer all of your questions, but please contact Kris Ericson, technical & conference services coordinator, if you have others we haven’t considered! As always, space is reserved on a first come, first served basis and no reservation is considered complete without payment.
Join the committee, PCPA Board of Directors and staff, and hundreds of professionals from across the state in the premiere statewide trade association conference. See you at Seven Springs!
