The Department of Public Welfare (DPW) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will present a series of informational meetings on September 26, 27, and 28 on the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit that will be implemented January 1, 2006. Meetings are scheduled from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

CMS and DPW representatives will provide an overview of Medicare Part D, discuss timelines for implementation, and discuss Pennsylvania-specific policies concerning pharmacy coverage.
