Contact Senators - Dedicated Alcohol Tax Legislation

June 9, 2006

PCPA, along with other stakeholders, has advanced an agenda of long-term, stable system funding for the mental health/mental retardation/drug and alcohol (MH/MR/D&A) system. Senator Jake Corman (R-Centre/Juniata/Mifflin/Perry/Union), chair of the Senate Public Health and Welfare Committee, has kept the promise he made to the audience at PCPA’s annual Lobby Day June 6: to bring Senate Bill 727 (the Senate version of the dedicated alcohol tax legislation) up for a vote in his committee. This vote is scheduled for Tuesday, June 13.
