As announced previously, the association’s lobby day is June 6. Please register your organization with PCPA (using the attached form) by May 26. Read on for how PCPA members, staff, consumers/clients, and family members can participate in this important legislative effort.
Preliminary Schedule
PCPA’s registration table will be located in the Capitol’s Main Rotunda.
- The table will be available from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Registered organization member contact persons will receive envelopes containing member briefing packets, packets for registered legislative visits, name tags, and other helpful materials. Please note that legislative packets will be prepared if visits are scheduled by members and registered in advance with PCPA. A small number of additional legislative packets will be available at the table.
- Legislative talking points and PCPA staff will be available throughout the event.
- Use this as an opportunity to make a political action committee (PAC) donation to the Pennsylvania Community Provider (PCP) PAC. Every contribution, no matter how great or small, helps to strengthen the community provider voice. PCP PAC contribution materials will be available at the table and can be accepted by any PCPA staff person during lobby day. Please remember that PCP PAC contributions are not tax deductible.
