The Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) has written the application for the Community Mental Health Block Grant for Pennsylvania for 2005-06 with the support of the Mental Health Planning Council. OMHSAS is required to hold a public hearing on the grant application. Two public hearings are scheduled.
The first is on September 28 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Harrisburg State Hospital, Beechmont Building #23, Harrisburg. The second is on September 29 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Mercer County Cooperative Extension Building, Route 19 North, 463 N. Perry Highway, Mercer. Input from these meetings will be incorporated into the grant application that will be submitted to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration by December 1.
