The Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services has asked PCPA to notify members of a request for proposals (RFP) for full-care community residential rehabilitation (CRR) services in Centre County. The RFP is for services for three individuals; one currently residing in the community after 20 years in institutional settings and two others (yet to be identified) who currently reside at Danville State Hospital. A one-story, accessible home with an attached garage is required. Staffing patterns of 2:3 with a ratio of 1:3 awake overnight coverage are suggested. Services must be grounded in recovery principles. Centre County Mental Health/Mental Retardation (MH/MR) has allocated $86,132 for the identified person and up to $80,000 each for the other individuals on an annualized basis.
Proposals should include cost projections, staffing patterns, and a program format that addresses the needs of the individuals and families as identified in the RFP. Proposals must be constructed using the format requirements identified in the RFP. Complete details are outlined in the proposal attached below.
