PCPA informed its members of the newly revised draft Incident Management bulletin from the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS). A copy of the draft bulletin and a document summarizing the changes made by OMHSAS has beenavailable on the web site.
While this draft currently applies to Community Residential Rehabilitation Services (CRRS) and Long Term Structured Residences (LTSRs), OMHSAS has stated that this draft is a first step in implementing an incident management process for other services it licenses. It is important that PCPA members review the draft bulletin while keeping in mind that the requirements set forth may in the future be implemented for services other than those listed above.
PCPA will summarize the comments of its members and will forward the information to the Office. Please submit all comments to PCPA no later than April 30.
