The Office of
Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) has heard providers’
requests for face-to-face training on HCSIS Incident Management and Reporting
for community residential rehabilitation services and adult long term structured
residences. Two training sessions will be available, limited to 75 individuals
per venue. Sessions are September 12 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. and October
20 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Both sessions will be held on the grounds of
the Harrisburg State Hospital in the Clothes Tree Building, Number 36, 2301
North Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110. A map
is included. The agenda for each session is as follows:
- Overview of policy and how it relates to HCSIS
- Demonstration of the HCSIS OMHSAS Incident Management System
- Timeline and key activity refresher
- Review of roles and activities
- Question and Answer presentation
- General discussion
Attendees must have completed the online training prior to attending a face-to-face training session.
