Veritus Medicare Offers New Resources

Veritus Medicare Services, a Medicare fiscal intermediary for Pennsylvania, has announced the provision of a Medicare 101 training “Fundamentals of Medicare Billing Workshop” and a new document on frequently asked questions about partial hospitalization programs.

Fundamentals of Medicare Billing Workshop
This workshop was developed for Community Mental Health Clinics, Outpatient Physical Therapy Facilities, and Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities and is offered to newly certified providers or providers with new billing staff. The workshop will deal with fundamental Medicare policies, programs, and procedures, but will concentrate on the basics of billing Medicare. The workshops are scheduled for December 8 in Camp Hill and December 15 in Pittsburgh.
