HCSIS Offline
DPW will be upgrading its databases on Saturday, November 22, so HCSIS will be unavailable from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.HCSIS Release 3.1.0
The latest HCSIS release, 3.1.0 will g live on December 13. Highlights of new features include:
- ISP approved alert generated for Supports Coordinators;
- 2004 cycle sample available for OMR Regional Monitors;
- New sort capability for provider access.
Incident Management
New Incident Management module will be available beginning January 4, 2004. Redesign based on feedback from providers, counties, individuals and families. Changes include:
- 50% reduction in screens
- Simplified data entry
- One report format tailored to incident type
- Reporting requirements for medication errors and restraints expanded to 72 hours
Upcoming Communications on HCSIS
OMR will be release additional communications regarding the changes to the HCSIS system. These will include:
- December 1: Bulletin and Training Timeline Activities;
- December 4: Quick Reference Guides on conversion details;
- December 28: Web-based training;
