The employment newsletter on the Office of Mental Retardation (OMR) web page was updated last week and contains over 40 state and national news items related to employment for people with mental retardation and other disabilities. The next installment is expected in May, 2003. The employment newsletter can be accessed at www.dpw.state.pa.us/omr/Employment/omrEmploymentNewsletter.asp.
You may also be interested in knowing that a revised IM4Q area has been posted on the OMR web page as well. The IM4Q area is organized around the following features:
- News containing information about yearly IM4Q tasks, scheduled meetings, information about training, and other news items.
- Contacts containing contact information on local, county, and regional IM4Q personnel.
- Reports containing State IM4Q reports, instructions for obtaining county and other reports, and a hyperlink to the Human Services Research Institute on National Core Indicator reports.
- Stories containing stories about the experiences of people who paritcipate in IM4Q.
The IM4Q web page is expected to be updated on a monthly basis and can be accessed through www.dpw.state.pa.us/omr/omrIM4Q.asp.
