Drummond Joins PCPA As Policy Specialist

The Pennsylvania Community Providers Association (PCPA) is pleased to announce the addition of Linda Hall Drummond, MPA, to the policy staff of the organization. Ms. Drummond will begin employment with the Association on October 16, filling the primary role as Mental Retardation Policy Specialist. Drummond replaces Lynn Keltz who has moved to a policy position within the Department of Public Welfare.

“We are delighted to have Linda joining the PCPA staff," stated George Kimes, Executive Director. She brings an extensive background in the mental retardation field having worked for over 13 years with The ARC of Pennsylvania. Drummond also served as the Executive Director of The ARC of Dauphin and Lebanon Counties. Kimes also emphasized her familiarity with the other key service areas for PCPA membership, “Linda served for a number of years on both the MH/MR Advisory Board and the D&A Advisory Board in Dauphin County.” Ms. Drummond has been an active part of the Pennsylvania MH/MR Coalition, of which PCPA is also a member, and has had the opportunity to work on issues with the Association through this coalition.

Drummond earned the Masters of Public Administration degree from Pennsylvania State University as well as a Bachelor of Science from Mansfield University. The PCPA Board and staff welcome her to her new position with the Association.
