In November 2007 PCPA asked members to complete a questionnaire regarding the cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) that was included by the Pennsylvania General Assembly and Governor Rendell in the state’s fiscal year 2007/08 budget. PCPA thanks those agencies that submitted a response. The responses yielded interesting results, but many of the responses were for Philadelphia and Allegheny counties. In order to ensure the data is reliable, a greater sample is needed from other counties.
PCPA asks that members providing services in counties other than Allegheny and Philadelphia complete the questionnaire for each county of service. The results of this questionnaire will impact PCPA’s legislative strategy for upcoming state budget negotiations. The link will access the online questionnaire:

If you have already submitted data for a county on behalf of your agency, there is no need to resubmit data for that particular county. Multiple individuals within a member agency receiving this request are urged to coordinate and provide one response. Duplicate responses received will be combined by PCPA. Should PCPA receive differing responses from a member agency representing the same county, the association will ensure that one accurate response is received for the organization. Any responses used for advocacy purposes will not include name or agency information.
Please submit all responses by February 9. In order to save time for recipients, the survey is designed to skip questions that are not relevant based on responses selected. If you would prefer to view the questionnaire in its entirety, a full copy is attached.
