PCPA members have been invited by Open Minds to attend the 3rd Annual Conference on the Future of Technology in Behavioral Health in Alexandria, VA, October 25 – 26. This conference is intended for CEOs of health and human service organizations, health care policymakers, state and county public health agencies, mental health and substance abuse program executives, CEOs and executive team members of technology organizations, physical health providers, and managed care organizations.
The conference goals are to:
- Understand the state of development and application of new technologies in the behavioral health field, as well as their implications for future strategy;
- Evaluate the research on the effectiveness of the integration of technology into the delivery of clinical behavioral health services; and
- Recognize future uses of technology in improving the quality of care and outcomes in behavioral health and the challenges in their adoption.
