PCPA endorsed
vendors Essential Learning and Netsmart University have recently expanded
the online learning opportunities available to PCPA members. In response to
this, the association has redesigned the eLearning web page to highlight these
opportunities. PCPA members are encouraged to visit the redesigned
page to learn more about what advantages eLearning can provide.
Members have regularly indicated that the primary barrier to attending training courses is the time that it requires personnel to be out of the office. PCPA has entered into endorsed vendor contacts with eLearning companies to assist in the removal of this barrier. eLearning allows agency staff to develop professionally while meeting regulatory training requirements. It also cuts costs by minimizing travel and allows the viewer to complete the course at their leisure.
Courses for both Essential Learning and Netsmart University can be ordered individually or through a subscription, which allows agencies to order courses for their employees in larger quantities.
