The MH/MR Coalition’s Working Together Campaign is holding a rally at the Capitol to address Essential Funding for Essential Services. The coalition's update is attached with additional information.
The coalition’s request is compatible with PCPA’s state budget request:
- 3% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for MH/MR/D&A community services and
- A Long-term solution to funding needs.
The coalition also supports full funding for individuals with mental retardation on the Emergency Waiting List
PCPA will also be holding Lobby Day on May 25 at the state Capitol. If you are unable to attend the May 25 event or are available to attend both events, please register with Linda Drummond at PCPA for the May 11 Rally no later that May 6. When attending the rally or Lobby Day remember to allow time to navigate the Capitol’s Security and to locate parking.
