Compliance Boot Camp: Making the Grade After Health Reform
June 28, 2012

As budgetary pressures at the state and federal levels force policymakers to identify cuts in health care spending, they will increasingly look to overpayment recoupments and penalties from providers to finance the Medicare and Medicaid programs. To this end, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act funds new fraud and abuse enforcement activities, expands the range of activities that constitute false claims, increases financial penalties, and establishes mandatory compliance programs as a condition of enrollment for all providers in Medicare, Medicaid, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program. In this environment, implementing an effective corporate compliance program that prioritizes the highest risks is an essential strategy for protecting assets and minimizing financial liabilities.

Join PCPA for this compliance “boot camp” on August 23 at the NHS Training Center in Blue Bell. This workshop was recently presented as a pre-conference university at the 42nd National Council Mental Health and Addictions Conference and received rave reviews. The cost of this session at the National Council conference was $299. It is being offered to Pennsylvania providers at a significant discount. PCPA/Pennsylvania Association of Rehabilitation Facilities members can attend at the early bird rate of $119 and non-members for $149.
