Children’s Networking at National Council
April 20, 2011

Children’s Networking Group
Staff from PCPA and The National Council hope that members will join them at the second meeting of the Children’s Networking Group on May 2 during the conference. Rebecca Farley will provide an update on the National Council’s work since the first meeting in 2010. PCPA’s Susan Blue will again lead a discussion with providers from across the nation about the most pressing issues in the field and recommendations for action in the year ahead. PCPA member input at the meeting will be invaluable. Lunch will be provided at the networking group meeting but a “head count” is essential. Please RSVP to Rebecca Farley (rebeccaf@thenationalcouncil.org).

Conference Roadmap for Children’s Providers
PCPA members played an important role in providing input to National Council staff to plan the children’s track at this year’s conference. To help child and adolescent providers find their way through a very large conference program, the staff have developed a “Conference Roadmap for Children’s Providers.” Members are encouraged to pick up a copy on arrival in San Diego to easily locate all of the child- and youth-related sessions and events.

Pennsylvania Reception in San Diego
PCPA is pleased to invite Pennsylvania attendees of the 41st National Council Conference to a Pennsylvania Reception. This social and networking event is May 2, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the Manchester Grand Hyatt’s Gallery in the Courtyard. An RSVP is encouraged, but not required. Send your RSVP to Steve Neidlinger by April 25. The reception is sponsored by Megellan Health Services, The Curie Group, and Community Services Group.
