Infant Mental Health Conference
September 2, 2014

The Pennsylvania Association for Infant Mental Health (PA-AIMH) will host its sixth annual conference October 16 – 17 at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel. Each year PA-AIMH brings together early childhood mental health professionals, educators, researchers, and advocates from across Pennsylvania to meet together and with national experts. The conference works “to promote the healthy social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through supportive and nurturing relationships for children from conception through five years of age throughout Pennsylvania.” The conference serves to facilitate interdisciplinary cooperation among individuals concerned with promoting conditions that bring about the optimal development of infants and infant-caregiver relationships and promote education, research, and study of the effects of mental development during infancy and early childhood.

Information about the conference agenda and breakout session descriptions are available from the PA-AIMH web site along with registration information. Early bird rates are available through September 15 along with discounted rates for students and PA-AIMH members.
