School Based Behavioral Health Grants
July 30, 2012

The Bureau of Special Education is awarding School Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) performance grants for 2012/13 to support the establishment and expansion of School Wide Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support (SWPBIS). The announcement for schools and Intermediate Units will be sent in early August. PCPA members who work in partnership with community schools and Intermediate Units are encouraged to begin the collaborative consideration of grant submissions as soon as possible.

Once the announcement has been released by the Bureau of Special Education, the grant materials (Request for Proposals and Request for Qualifications, applications, and guidance webinars) will be available on the Behavior Initiative home page of the PaTTAN web site. New project proposals are due to be submitted by August 31.  Project expansion proposals must be submitted by September 7. The bureau will also post grant related information on the Pennsylvania Positive Behavior Support web site (www.papbs.org).
