Philadelphia – Comprehensive NeuroScience Presents a Program on Improving Health Status of Persons with Severe Mental Illness

On September 22 Comprehensive NeuroScience, Inc., in conjunction with the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower and supported by an independent educational grant from Eli Lilly and Company, will present Improving the Health Status of Persons Diagnosed with Severe Mental Illness. This program will discuss the difficulty in addressing the physical health needs of persons with mental illnesses. In addition, the current fiscal crisis for states and its effect on clinical care will be examined.

The symposium will be held September 22 at the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with lunch included. There is no charge to attend this program. Harrisburg – Dauphin County Executive Commission on Drugs and Alcohol, Inc., Sponsors Discussion of Systems of Care for Co-Occurring Disorders

The Dauphin County Executive Commission on Drugs & Alcohol, Inc., invites local drug and alcohol providers, mental health agencies in Dauphin County, the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, the Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Programs, other single county authorities, and mental health/mental retardation programs from the surrounding area to discuss systems of care for co-occurring disorders September 29 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Dr. Kenneth Minkoff of Harvard Medical School and Dr. Christie A. Cline of ZiaLogic will present. The presentation will be held at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg-Hershey, 604 Station Road, Grantville, PA, 17028.
