NCCBH Medicare D Costs Survey
April 10, 2006

Since implementation of the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit (Part D), the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare (NCCBH) has represented community providers’ interests to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and to Congress. NCCBH needs input from its members to identify the cost of Medicare Part D implementation. NCCBH requests that members review the survey available online as a MS Word document (www.nccbh.org/PartDQuestionnaire.doc) designed to gather details about agency implementation activities and their financial impact. Members are then asked to complete the survey online by accessing http://e2ma.net/go/239651138/192243/5508416/goto:http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=430991991916. The information gathered is intended to help NCCBH in communicating with policy makers on Capitol Hill about corrective action needed to support community providers’ work with consumers related to Medicare Part D.

PCPA encourages its members who are also NCCBH members to complete the survey by the April 21 deadline to assist the National Council in its efforts to address the needs of providers related to Medicare Part D. Please contact Kristin Battista Frazee (kristinbf@nccbh.org) with questions about the survey.
