Employee False Claims Education Attestation Form

The Department of Public Welfare (DPW) has reminded providers of requirements of Section 6032 of the Federal Deficit Reduction Act (DRA) of 2005, P.L. 109-171 (S 1932, February 8, 2006) that requires employee education about false claims recovery. The deadline for entities subject to Section 6032 to submit the Attestation of Compliance is December 31.

Medical Assistance (MA) providers, including managed care organizations (MCOs), can submit the Attestation of Compliance online. Providers should access the Fraud and Abuse section of the DPW web site and select DRA Attestation of Compliance Form from the list under “Topics Related to Fraud and Abuse.” The DRA Attestation Form is a required submission from any entity, including a MCO that annually receives or makes payments of at least $5 million from the MA program.
