PA Supportive Housing Award
Pennsylvania’s Departments of Public Welfare, Aging, and the Housing Finance Agency, are seeking nominations for the 2011 Supportive Housing Award. This award recognizes significant efforts to increase the availability of supported housing that is affordable and accessible for older adults and those with disabilities and low incomes. Supportive services include case management and housekeeping assistance to help individuals maintain independence. Nominations are accepted through April 22 and are open to any individual, organization, non-profits, builders, architects, municipal governments, and financial institutions. For information on the award e-mail ra-housingaward@state.pa.us.

ODP Year3 Cost Report
The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) conducted a debriefing session regarding the Year 3 (2011/12) Cost Reports and Desk Reviews and possible revisions for the 2012/13 Year 4 Cost Reports. Administrative Entities performed desk reviews on 536 initial cost report submissions and 790 resubmissions.

The Cost Report Survey responses from providers indicated the most challenging schedules to complete were Schedules A, B, and E through E-2. ODP is considering doing Year 4 targeted trainings on these schedules to highlight changes between Year 3 and Year 4, rather than a general training on cost reports. Providers should direct any questions to ra-ratesetting@state.pa.us. ODP will be posting the PowerPoint from this debriefing at www.odpconsulting.net.
