The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has released the following information available at www.odpconsulting.net.

  • Announcement #036-13: Medication Administration Recertification Training Additional Training Dates in May 2013. Two additional recertification classes have been added for certification ending June 30. Registration must be completed by May 15 at http://medsadmin.tiu11.org.
  • Informational Memo #037-13: ISP Meeting Attendance – Provider Participation and Billing. Waiver and other ODP documents confirm the role of providers to participate and/or attend ISP team meetings. However, in most circumstances attendance for a provider at a team meeting is not a billable activity. The 2013/14 fee schedule rates include costs for non-billable time (such as meetings, travel, and participation in training). Questions may be directed to ODP Regional Program Managers.
  • ODP is conducting “Employment Focus Groups for People with Disabilities and Family Members” across the state the last three weeks in May. The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has released the following information, available at www.odpconsulting.net.

  • Announcement #033-13: NCI Reports and Handbook now available on ODP Consulting. National Core Indicators (NCI) data is used for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Announcement #034-13: Availability of ODP Consolidated and Person/Family Directed Support Waiver Amendments Submitted to CMS. On March 29, ODP submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) amendments to the waivers with a proposed effective date retroactive to July 1, 2012. The retroactive effective date is due to the implementation of the waiting list initiative once the state’s 2012/13 budget was approved.
  • Informational Packet #035-13: Unlicensed Residential Habilitation Homes Survey.  ODP is requesting all current providers of unlicensed residential habilitation services to complete a survey based on established 6400 and 6500 regulations. The link to the survey is available from the packet and the  survey must be completed by June 1.
  • Statewide Positive Practices Committee update with survey results and next steps.
  • Invitation for Families and People with Disabilities to join an ODP Employment Focus Group.
  • The Direct Support Workers Newsletter, with information to assist staff as they provide support to individuals, especially those with dual diagnoses.
