IDD Update
June 9, 2011

Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) Deputy Secretary Kevin Friel will attend the June 14, IDD Committee. The agenda lists topics for discussion. Please share specific questions with Linda Drummond June 12 so they can be shared ahead of time with Mr. Friel. Since he is so new to ODP, he may not have answers to all the questions or may decide to bring other ODP staff with him to address some of the issues.  

Please remember to respond to the email regarding 2010/11 Revenue Reconciliation numbers. 2011/12 may be the last year of Revenue Reconciliation if approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Going forward rates based on cost reports will need to cover your costs.Funding system issues with ODP must be resolved in the next few months.

The HCSIS Update highlights the upcoming HCSIS Release 6.12.0 which includes addition of ODP 2011/12 service definitions, the new Provider Agreement, and new Enterprise Incident Management functionality for autism services. Reminders include that 2011/12 Individual Service Plans are now being renewed.

  • October 5. Empowering the Forgotten Ones Through Systems Change. Temple University. Cross-disability conference looking at challenges faced by immigrants and culturally diverse individuals with disabilities in Pennsylvania. Watch for details.
