Individuals interested in submitting comments and recommendations to this committee may do so either in person or in writing. The announcement provides dates, locations and details. At the June kick-off, RCPA Policy Specialist Linda Drummond addressed the committee with the need to include the intellectual and developmental disability system’s aging population’s needs in their recommendations.

A free webinar for agencies moving staff to telecommuting and mobile workforces is being offered August 14 by the National Child Welfare Workforce Institute. Details and registration are available.

Supports Coordination Questions/Recommendations
Several Supports Coordination Organizations (SCOs) have asked for input from other SCO members regarding the following issues. Please send responses to Linda Drummond to forward:

  1. ODP Memo #107-12 regarding quality management plans states that SCOs must work together with the lead Administrative Entity (AE) to identify opportunities for improvement and the development, implementation, and evaluation of the QM plan and supporting action plans. How are SCOs handling multi-county requests to have different QM plans rather than just the lead AE?
  2. Has your SCO moved to electronic medical records for SC and early intervention services? If yes, please share which records package was selected and how is it working.
