There are many wonderful sessions to attend. The Joint Aging/ID Cross-Systems Conference, Building Bridges, is September 5 - 6 in Camp Hill and there is still time to register. As a member of this joint committee, Linda Drummond has coordinated sessions on “Compassion Fatigue for Caregivers” and “Assistive Technology and Smart Homes.”

The Direct Care Alliance for direct care workers has developed a factsheet providing an overview of the potential impact of the Affordable Care Act on these staff.

SCOs, please let Ms. Drummond know the impact of the fee schedule regarding changes made regarding how your agency provides supports coordination, such as moving to a mobile workforce. What issues have occurred with these changes?
