ODP 2013/14 Residential Eligible Rates
PCPA is requesting that agencies which provideOffice of Developemntal Programs (ODP)-funded residential services that have 2013/14 eligible rate based on cost reports to please share the range and impact of these rates compared to 2012/13 and those from 2011/12 (which had the Rate Adjustment Factor). The association would like to share the ranges and issues for discussion on these rates with ODP fiscal staff at the June 18 Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Committee. Please send this information to Linda Drummond by June 12.

ODP Futures Planning Update
ODP has posted the most current futures planning objectives to the web site at http://www.odpconsulting.net/odp-futures-planning/#.UV2AaVd4_7A.
There are four versions of the objectives included on the site:

  • April 17 are draft long-range goals and objectives identified after reviewing public comments,
  • May 10 condensed and refined the initial 47 objectives to 13,
  • May 17 are the eight objectives reviewed by the extended team on May 21, and
  • May 31 are revised objectives with simplified language.

Please share comments and recommendations with Linda Drummond, PCPA’s representative on this initiative, by June 20.

  • Announcement #045-13: New Version Now Available SH/AIS User Guide. Updates to the user guide include revisions to section on prior authorization request process and Appendix E. Inquiries regarding the prior authorization of Supplemental Habilitation and Additional Individualized Staffing should be directed to ra-centralo.shais@pa.gov
  • Reissue: Announcement #060-12: Changes Made to ODP’s Customer Service Telephone System. Based on call volume to its Customer Service Line (888-565-9435) callers may now direct dial the applicable service line and during typical work hours may speak to the customer service representative.
  • IM4Q 2013 Annual Statewide Training, July 23-24 at the Harrisburg Hilton. Registration is available at www.temple.edu/instituteondisabilities/register/im4q.
