OMHSAS is partnering with the Gender and Sexuality Development Clinic at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to provide training to Behavioral Health Providers on better serving individuals who are transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary. Trainings will be held in each of the regions as listed below.

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s (CHOP) Gender and Sexuality Development Clinic has partnered with the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) on a training series on supporting transgender and gender expansive individuals. The presenters will review language and terminology associated with gender identity and introduce stages for gender identity development. Questions should be directed to Jill Stemple at OMHSAS.
