ODP Announcement 19-100 announces the availability of five scheduled webinars that will present an overview of Adult Protective Services Law, eligibility criteria, statutory definitions, individual’s rights, DHS and Liberty Health Responsibilities, mandatory reporters, and general and additional reporting processes and requirements.

Each webinar is 45 to 60 minutes, allowing time at the end for questions. The webinars are scheduled for August 13, September 23, October 7, November 4, and December 17, 2019. ODP Acting Deputy Secretary Kristin Ahrens, along with the PA Family Network and Vision for Equality, invite self-advocates and their families to attend one of several meet-and-greet sessions. Sessions will be held at various locations throughout the Commonwealth. Registration is free but required. Two webinars will also take place. The listening sessions are announced in ODP Communication Number 097-18.
