As part of the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs Technical Assistance Series, representatives from Pennsylvania’s Behavioral Health Managed Care Organizations will discuss effective practices across levels of care for substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. The session, “Strengthening Provider Practice and Expectations Across Levels of Care,” is scheduled for 10:00 am Monday, July 6. It is intended to support providers in delivering quality, person-centered SUD services while promoting consistency in expectations across levels of care.
Topics will include individualized treatment planning, person-centered care, documentation, clinical service expectations, ongoing assessment of treatment needs, and discharge planning. Presenters will share perspectives on common expectations and discuss approaches that support quality treatment services and positive outcomes for individuals receiving care.
