DHS Announces Pennsylvania’s RHTP Advisory Council; RCPA COO Jim Sharp Nominated for Behavioral Health Expertise

After reviewing nominations for individuals from across the Commonwealth, the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) announced the Rural Health Transformation Plan (RHTP) Advisory Council. The Advisory Council will provide subject matter expertise to the Rural Care Collaboratives (RCC) in the six initiative areas. Member input is intended to inform and enhance the RCC regional plans to ensure planned projects have the best chance of mitigating the prioritized regional health needs and will be sustainable.


RCPA COO and Director of Mental Health Services Jim Sharp has been nominated to the Advisory Council for Behavioral Health expertise. A full listing of the Advisory Council, as well as information on getting involved in the RCCs, is available here.
