Message from the Department of Human Services (DHS):
As part of Pennsylvania’s Rural Health Transformation Initiative, the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s Long-Term Care Transformation Office (LTCTO) is pleased to announce the release of a Request for Applications (RFA) for its Quality Investment Program (QIP). This grant program aims to provide support to the Commonwealth's long-term care facilities for investments in both workforce and infrastructure areas of need.
The RFA officially opened on September 1, 2026. The following is the e-Marketplace listing for RFA 67-212. This link contains all information needed to apply, including application due date and time. If addendums are posted updating or changing information within the RFA, they will be posted at the same link.
Quality Investment Program (QIP) — Strengthening Long‑Term Care Workforce, Infrastructure, and Resident Well‑Being
- Application Dates: September 1, 2026 – October 1, 2026 at 7:00 am
- Total Available Funding: Approximately $2.75 million
- Maximum Award Amount: $2,500 per licensed bed, up to $250,000 per facility
- Anticipated Number of Awards: 48-100
- Qualified Entities: Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Personal Care Homes (PCH), Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF)
