Richard Edley, CEO of the Rehabilitation and Community Providers Association, which represents a wide range of health and human service agencies across the commonwealth, said it’s high time to raise the Keystone State's minimum wage. The minimum wage bill that recently passed in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives would phase in the increase over several years, not reaching $15 until 2029, he noted. The gradual rollout would give human service providers time to lobby for more resources, he said.
