The Pennsylvania State Police received 445 autism sensory aid bags through a partnership between the Collaborative Autism Movement and Amazon. The bags ensure all PSP stations across the commonwealth have at least five on hand to better assist individuals with autism and sensory sensitivities.


The bags contain headphones, weighted blankets, sunglasses, non-verbal communication boards, timers, fidget items and quick reference guides. The items help reduce anxiety, encourage self-regulation and provide comfort during both emergency and non-emergency interactions with law enforcement.
