RCPA, along with The Alliance CSP, The Arc of Pennsylvania, PAR, and The Provider Alliance, has submitted a joint budget request letter to Governor Josh Shapiro and key administration officials advocating for a 6.9% increase to the Intellectual Disability and Autism (ID/A) fee schedule rates in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026/27 Executive Budget.

A full copy of the budget request letter can be viewed here.

This request aligns with the Administration’s Multi-Year Program Growth Strategy to eliminate the emergency waiting list and strengthen Pennsylvania’s community service system. The proposed rate increase reflects actual and projected inflation.

RCPA continues to strongly advocate for regular and predictable reimbursement increases to ensure providers can maintain a stable, qualified workforce and continually improve service quality for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism across the Commonwealth.
