PA DHS Secretary Valerie Arkoosh will address current critical issues facing human services providers across the Commonwealth. Her remarks will include an overview of the current and anticipated impacts of HR1 and other federal policy initiatives that affect PA. Secretary Arkoosh will also provide updates on increased federal scrutiny and efforts to reduce fraud, waste, and abuse within DHS programs. The presentation will also include a discussion of the implementation and early progress of the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) and its implications for providers serving rural communities.
