The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has shared the communication, ODPANN 24-030: Community Participation Support (CPS) Billing Changes to Assist Individuals to Participate in the InVEST Project and Trainings Held by Self Advocacy Power Network for All (SAPNA) and the PA Family Network.

This communication announces CPS billing changes to support individuals’ participation in these offerings. Suggested audience includes:

  • Individuals and Families;
  • Administrative Entities (AEs);
  • Supports Coordination Organizations (SCOs);
  • Providers of CPS; and
  • Any interested stakeholders.

A Request for Proposals (Solicitation/Project#:6100060351) for a single contract in the eastern region of Pennsylvania with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) for the PA SWTCIE Grant’s InVEST Project has been issued. Interested parties should access information regarding this opportunity on the PA eMarketplace website.

The InVEST Project is seeking to increase competitive integrated employment outcomes for individuals who are engaged, or are considering engagement, in subminimum wage employment. The project is funded through the Disability Innovation Fund (DIF) Subminimum Wage to Competitive Integrated Employment Grant, a federal model demonstration grant from the Rehabilitation Services Administration (PR Award # H421D220003).

This is a reminder that the Request for Proposals (RFP) for a statewide contract with Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) for the PA SWTCIE Grant’s InVEST Project has been reissued. Interested parties should access information regarding this opportunity on the PA eMarketplace website.

Any questions regarding the RFP and/or BDISBO requirements must be submitted in writing via JAEGGER. Responses will be posted in writing via JAEGGER.

The deadline for proposal submission is Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 3:00 pm.

OVR is seeking information to refine its “Request for Proposals” for the InVEST (Integrated Vocational Engagement & Support Team) Project.

Pennsylvania’s Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) would like to hear from interested parties about the management of services delivered through the Integrated Vocational Engagement and Support Team (InVEST) Project. The goal of the InVEST Project is to provide services and supports to individuals and their families, community businesses, and providers in successfully transitioning individuals receiving subminimum wage to competitive integrated employment (CIE). Additionally, the InVEST Project aims to address barriers to CIE for individuals with disabilities in a person-centered, strengths-based and community-integrated approach by using the Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) Framework and tools.

One step in achieving this goal was issuance of a “Request for Proposals” in March 2023 for the Disability Innovation Fund (DIF) 84.421D Subminimum Wage to Competitive Integrated Employment Grant (SWTCIE). The “Request for Proposals” sought an entity to manage the delivery of services included in the InVEST Project throughout the 5-year term of the project.
