PENNSYLVANIA DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES COUNCIL (PADDC) REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS

We are pleased to announce that the first Request for Application (RFA) book for 2022–2026 State Plan is now available for you to download, which includes 13 separate grant opportunities. The deadline to submit applications for these grants is December 1, 2021. Visit here to read more and download the RFA book and other application resources.

CHCS Report Now Available — “Accelerating Child Health Care Transformation: Key Opportunities for Improving Pediatric Care”

The Center for Health Care Strategies released a report providing practical recommendations for providers, payers, and policymakers to consider when adopting approaches to transform child health care services. It also explores barriers to widespread implementation and identifies critical accountability and financing levers to support and sustain improvements in pediatric care. The report is a product of the Accelerating Child Health Transformation initiative, led by CHCS and made possible by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

ODP Announcement 21-042 informs stakeholders that the following resources are now available to support the Incident Management Bulletin (effective July 1, 2021) and alignment with the Chapter 6100 regulations:

  • Web-based trainings are now available to highlight EIM system enhancements that will be implemented on Thursday, July 1, 2021.
  • Registration for Question and Answer sessions (Q&A) related to training are now open and available on the Home and Community Services Information System (HCSIS) Learning Management System (LMS).

Webcasts are now available on the LMS. Stakeholders that perform functions in EIM are encouraged to view these self-paced trainings.

In addition, the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) will facilitate Q&A sessions beginning on Friday, June 4, 2021. Sessions will focus on specific incident management documents in EIM. Registration is required for the Q&A sessions and will be available through LMS beginning May 28.
