The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) has shared an update regarding her online forum to provide community-based organizations and providers with important updates regarding H.R. 1. The new time and date are below:

 

Date: Tuesday, August 18, 2026

Time: 1:30 pm

 

Due to the overwhelming response, they will also be switching the platform to a Teams Town Hall. There is no need to register – you will use this link to join the webinar.


Topics will include:

  • Overview of H.R. 1 changes;
  • Timeline for implementation;
  • Exemptions and medical frailty provisions; and
  • What providers can do now and how to assist individuals affected by the changes.

 

We encourage all providers to participate and share this opportunity with colleagues and partner organizations.
