Allegheny County Hearing on Paid Parental Leave Announced for September 10

The Council of Allegheny County will conduct a public hearing relating to paid parental leave, as described in this Notice. The purpose of this hearing is to allow the public opportunity to offer comment on the concept of paid parental leave within Allegheny County. All Rules of Council relating to public comments offered at public hearings shall be in effect at each of the hearing authorized herein. The public hearing referenced herein is scheduled for September 10, 2026, at 5:00 pm, in the Gold Room, located on the 4th floor of the Allegheny County Courthouse, 436 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.


Individuals wishing to speak in person must register in advance at least 24 hours before the scheduled beginning of the meeting, and comments must be made in accordance with all applicable rules governing public comment at regularly scheduled Council meetings. An online registration form may be found on the County Council web page.
