The Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) will begin funding case management services for individuals affected by problem gambling.
Through the Commonwealth’s Compulsive and Problem Gambling Treatment Fund, DDAP will fund case management services as the payor of last resort, providing a critical service for individuals whose insurance does not cover case management. The new service is part of DDAP’s broader efforts to expand access to problem gambling services across the Commonwealth by addressing barriers that may prevent individuals from getting help.
