RCPA member Eagleville Hospital was named to Newsweek Magazine’s annual list of the country’s best residential addiction treatment providers, coming in at No. 9 in Pennsylvania. Located in Montgomery County, Eagleville is the region’s only program outside of Philadelphia to offer levels of care ranging from acute psychiatric hospitalization to specialty hospitalization to residential care for treating substance use, co-occurring, and mental health disorders. It is one of only 14 ASAM Level 4 providers in Pennsylvania, offering the highest and most intensive level of care in the addiction treatment continuum, including comprehensive wound care with IV antibiotics.
The 7th edition of America‘s Best Residential Addiction Treatment Centers ranking awards the leading 440 addiction treatment centers in the United States. Facilities in the 25 states with the highest number of addiction treatment centers (including Pennsylvania) according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) were included in the survey. The remaining states were grouped into four regions.
The list is based on four data sources:
- National Online Survey/Reputation Score, which was obtained from medical professionals and managers/administrators working in addiction treatment centers.
- Credentials, including accreditations, certifications, and licenses of addiction treatment centers, provided by SAMHSA, were included as a quality measure.
- Care Services Data on additional treatment centers, which was provided by SAMHSA.
- Patient Reviews, which included volume-weighted patient experience data from leading review platforms and Google Reviews.
The full methodology is available online.
This is the second year in a row Eagleville has been named to the list.
